Improving Running Form, Efficiency, & Enjoyment with Matrix Energetics

Matrix Energetics is a Consciousness Technology that helps people tap into the zero point field, the field of unlimited potential.  It feels good, transforms lives, and helps a lot of people in ways

we could not have predicted or even imagined.

The physics of Matrix Energetics are based in quantum and scalar physics.

However, Matrix Energetics is much like Fire… you can study the physics of Fire, even get a PhD in it,

but until you have actually experienced Fire (touched it!), you have no idea what Fire actually is.

This is why in our presentation we talk about Matrix Energetics and explain some of the physics supporting it,

but then, more importantly, we demonstrate it for the group so you have a firsthand experience of it.

We will also be covering a few key components of what Ralph calls “running for free.”

These subtle adjustments to running form, as well as Matrix Energetics, not only make your training

easier and reduce the chance of injuries, but will make every run more fun and effortless.

Curious? Confused? Perplexed?

Come play with us in the Matrix Energetics Field and tap into the Science and Art of Transformation!

MVA – whiplash treatment options – Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Alternative Medicine, Energy Medicine, Matrix Energetics, Integrative Manual Therapy, Massage Therapy

July 13, 2010

After a motor vehicle accident, ( whiplash ) which type of treatment is best for you?  I have listed common and some uncommon treatment options.  What are the usual course of action after a car wreck and is there a better way for you?

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is an alternative medical system. It takes a different approach from standard medicine in treating health problems.

The basic concepts of chiropractic are

  • Your body has a powerful self-healing ability
  • Your body’s structure (mainly the spine) and its function are related
  • The goal of chiropractic therapy is to normalize this relationship

Chiropractic professionals are doctors of chiropractic, or D.C.s. They use a type of hands-on therapy called spinal manipulation or adjustment. Many people visit chiropractors for treatment of low back pain.

NIH: National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine

The adjustments ( high velocity manipulations) are direct stretching techniques.  After a motor vehicle accident which is basically a high velocity injury, the muscle spindle of the spinal muscles is turned up resulting in spasms.  High velocity techniques such as chiropractic adjustments further activate the muscle spindle and can actually cause a whiplash type effect.  When getting any manual therapy it is a good idea to test and re-test range of motion and pain levels to determine if the treatment did something beneficial for the client.  Just because it “pops” doesn’t mean it’s fixed.  Checking how you move and feel after the treatment is key to seeing if this option works for you.

Physical Therapy

Basic Physical Therapy involves modalities such as Heat, Ice, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation and exercises to ease pain and restore movement and function.  Orthopedic Certified Specialists are trained in direct and indirect techniques to treat muscles, fascia and joints as well as neural tension.  My experience is that the indirect techniques work best; such as strain-counterstrain technique because as you put the injured areas on slack the muscle spindle is turned down and reset at a more comfortable resting length.  Again, testing and retesting pain, range of motion and function immediately after treatment is the best way to determine if this method is working for you.

Alternative Treatment Options are many and varied.  A partial list follows:

Reiki –

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

QiGong

Wisdom Healing Qigong is the translation of Zhineng Qigong in China.

“If you want to be healthy and live to 100, do QiGong.”
This was how Dr. Oz responded on November 1,  2007 during an interview with Oprah when he was asked out of all the health practices that one could do, what was the one practice that he would choose and recommend people practice to stay healthy. He added that Qigong reverses the aging process.

“As millions of people in China have already discovered, Qigong essentially reverses the aging process, while reducing stress, preventing illness, curing disease, and enhancing the overall quality of life.”
Master Mingtong Gu

QiGong is something I’ve practiced for years and I’ve found it amazingly effective in treatment of problems related to whiplash.  The one thing that qigong does that other methods don’t do well is helping someone tap into the “why did I have this accident”  Many times the universe is tapping at the door and giving a wake up call.  QiGong taps into the universal energy and can aid in healing on the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and other etheric levels.  I highly recommend this method to anyone for any condition.

Massage Therapy –

Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems. Today, the benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression, and more. And, as many millions will attest, massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.

I see the benefits of massage daily as I have many massage therapists as friends.  Reading thru the massage therapy journals and The Burnham Review I see that massage therapy is highly studied in medical journals and has been shown to be effective in the treatment of ailments from whiplash. Again, I recommend some of the more indirect techniques such as tuina and shiatsu but for chronic and long term problems there is a place for the more direct structural integration or Rolfing techniques.

Integrative Manual Therapy

IMT developed by Sharon Giammatteo PT, PhD has helped thousands of people from chronic conditions including ailments from whiplash and motor vehicle accidents.  IMT uses indirect techniques to assess and treat causes of the problem which could be as varied as joint, muscle, nerve as well as organs, arteries, veins, and lymph vessels and nodes as well as mental, emotional and spiritual reasons someone is still hurting.  I would recommend finding a therapist who is certified in IMT and has the designation of IMTC.  For more info on IMT www.centerIMT.com and www.missionhillspt.com

Matrix Energetics

Matrix Energetics is an amazing healing and transformation modality that works in the expression of subtle energy physics and the concepts and laws of quantum physics, superstring theory and Rupert Sheldrake’s Morphic Resonance. It was invented by Dr. Richard Bartlett, D.C., N.D., who is both a chiropractor and a naturopath.  This is the technology I now use for clients and others who are looking for true transformation on all levels; physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and other.  With motor vehicle accidents and whiplash in particular, if a client has had the condition for a while and tried other techniques without help, Matrix Energetics is a way I’ve found that can shift them and get them back to healing.  We’ve got a newsletter describing it in detail at www.missionhillspt.com/newsletters and more information can be found at www.matrixenergetics.com; other information can be found on other posts on this blog www.missionhillspt.wordpress.com

Description of Matrix Energetics Experience from Germany

April 11, 2010

Matrix Energetics: A note from Andrew, who attended Level 1 & 2 in Hamburg

This is from the Matrix message boards, but it’s so good we’re also posting it here.

Andrew, are you here in our group? I hope so.

I just returned to my home in Switzerland after having attended the Level 1 and 2 seminars in Hamburg, Germany. What an experience!

Day one started off with some pretty loud music and some “interesting” dancing / air guitar from Richard! I guess this is normal for these seminars! about 350 to 400 people on their feet dancing, clapping and just flowing with the music and Richard. Quite a kick-off!

Then the teaching started. Half an hour in I was wondering if I was in the right place (I’m an electronic engineer and a “healthy skeptic”)! But, as I am (from my years of Kung Fu and Chi Kung training), I just relaxed (as best I could) and went with what was going on. We got the 2-point first. When we headed off to practice my left brain was going “what the hell is this all about” and “I have no idea what I should be doing here”.

So there we were in our groups of 3 (or 4). I was supposed to work on someone. “But heck — what do I do?”. So, again, I relaxed and just did what Richard said. “BAM”, the “subject/reciver” fell into the arms of the kind catcher behind.

Left Brain: “What the hell did you just do?”
Left Brain: “I bet you can’t do that again!”
Right Brain: “Shut up, moron!”

So I tried again. Same result.

That, together with the GREAT fun way Richard and Melissa presented the material and the demonstrations, pretty much sums up my experience of day 1.

Back at the hotel in the evening, I was chatting with my wife (on the phone — she was back home in Switzerland). When she asked how it was going (even more skeptical than me), I just kind of said “I’m still not sure if I’m in the right place and I have no idea what is really going in. All I know is that I do (more or less) nothing and see people collapsing all over the place. It’s weird but it’s fun!”

Then came day 2. More loud music and dancing. More left brain saying “Get out of here!”.

Richard and Melissa started to introduce new concepts. We got “time travel”, “parallel universes” and “archetypes”. As Melissa so aptly put in regarding archetypes “Just halucinate out of your freaking skull!”. Great input for my left brain !

But again, I just went with the flow of events. And EVERYTHING seemed to work. My left brain still had NO IDEA what was going on. It was heading into overload, I think. Maybe, after the event, this was exactly what Richard was trying to achieve. Left brain was SO hung with trying to understand and rationalise, it just shut up!

Back at the hotel in the evening, I was again chatting with my wife. When she asked me how I was feeling about this now, I just replied “I have no idea!”. She was a little surprised at the anwser — but it was an honest one. My left brain just could not grasp what was going on nor why things were happening. Jees — day 3 (level 2) was about to hit me too.

OK. So now it’s day 3. My left brain is already completely overloaded. “Brain Fry”, if you like!

We got frequencies, windows and in the last part, modules.

Darn —– it all seemed to work. “What the heck is this all about?” says Mr. left brain!

It was quite an intensive day and I had to literally rush from the seminar (which was going to overrun a little) before it ended to catch my flight back home.

I spent the late evening (got home around 11pm) talking to my wife about how I still had no idea what was happening — but it seemed to work.

This morning (Easter Monday), my son told me he had some back issue from a snowboarding accident during the weekend. So I thought I’d just try out what I had “learned” during the weekend. I had no expectation. In fact, if I had any expectations, they were that it wouldn’t work. How wrong could I be?

My son had some clear shift in his upper spine which meant the left shoulder was about 2 inches higher than the right one. So, I took out my “toolbox” and “decided” on a simple 2-point. He rocked/swayed a little (to my utter delight). I then re-checked his shoulders ……… STRAIGHT and LEVEL! My wife was there (much bigger skeptic than me) and was “kind of surprised”. “This is fun” I thought. It felt right to carry on and I found a load of other stuff. Every time, I just followed the instructions Richard had given and used whatever came up for me — with instantaneous results! AMAZING!

So my wife is getting curious by now. I start to show her what I’m doing —- and she almost collapses on the floor. This is NOT what my wife usually does, I should add! I didn’t feel like I was done, so I carried on playing. Whatever came up (and some of it felt STUPID), I just went with it (as taught). And it just kept on working. My wife and I were laughing so hard. NOTHING works on her! But this seems to.

Now I’m going to work on (and practice with) my wife for the coming days/weeks to see what comes up and what we can change (particularly in her health). I have a good feeling right now — even though (or maybe precisely because) my left brain has no darn idea what is going on.

Final post for now (promise ). I don’t know if Richard and/or Melissa read this board, but in any case I would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to both Richard and Melissa for this past weekend. I have a feeling the changes are just beginning.

Finally — if anyone out there is wondering whether or not this event is worth participating in. My opinion, as a skeptic, GO FOR IT. Let yourself be blown away by the fun and enthusiasm. Worst comes to the worst, it’s fun to watch people collapsing and listening to Richard’s infectious sense of fun and enjoyment.

Matrix Energetics – The Science and Art of Transformation

December 12, 2009

What is Matrix Energetics and how can it help me?

Here’s the deal.  Used to be, I would ask clients if a treatment took away their pain.  Or if we had changed their pain level, when they would seek me out for treatment.  Since tapping into the world of Matrix Energetics, I no longer ask that question.

What I do ask is, “What do you notice that is different?”  You may say “so what”.  Have you ever heard the expression, “don’t look where you don’t want to go”?  It’s like when you are riding a motorcycle on a windy road on the edge of a mountain.  The one place you don’t look is over the edge where you could fall.

Many times when injured, clients will dwell on the injury, testing to see whether it’s still there; upset when it is, and worried if it will return when it’s better. I know I’ve done this many times in the past.  This puts us in a duality; a fight against the problem.  Problem is that’s “looking where you don’t want to go”; and what happens when we fight something?  It persists.  Think of the war on terrorism, or war on drugs or war on poverty.  Please tell me a war on something we’ve won lately!  It’s hard to find.

With Matrix Energetics we utilize the unlimited healing potential of __________.  The reason I leave a blank is that once you name __________, it’s not that.  If you did want to name it you could call it grace, the field, God, the zero-point field, or any other name; but once you name it you limit it; and it’s not that.  In fact it’s no thing, and every thing.  Sounds confusing; that’s good if it’s confusing that leaves a little “wiggle room”.  This allows for the potential for the universe or grace or whatever it is to slip in and transform.

These are not new ideas, but have been alluded to and described throughout time in various traditions from Christianity, Buddhism, Yoga, and Quantum Physics perspectives. Even Yoda alluded to it when he said “there is no try, only do”.  He didn’t’ get it totally right according to Dr. Bartlett;  It’s more like “Just Be”.   Kinda like the bible verse that says “be still and know that I am God”.  What this says to me is “Be still” and what happens when I’m still?  “I know”.  And what do I know?….. “God”.  And what is God?  Definitely something we can’t explain or put in a word.  While I’ve studied many methods, it wasn’t until I met Dr. Richard Bartlett, that I saw how it can be tapped in order to allow healing and transformation on a real and quantifiable level.  Dr. Bartlett was given a gift and shown a powerful way to access that healing space and has been able to teach us how to access it as well.  I feel I am giving him the well-deserved credit for the way I’m explaining this now.

What I’m talking about is not only healing the injury someone comes in to fix up; but also changing in ways that we could not even predict or imagine.  For example, I’ve recently had a client tell me they are grateful for having had their shoulder injury because they would not have found us and the other changes in their life would not have happened if they had not had a reason to come in.  This client now has significant changes in longstanding hands and feet numbness, improvements in her relationship, improvements in her mood and a real sense of peace for the first time in her life.  She even reported no longer fighting with her significant other.  Her shoulder is also no longer hurting or limited.

Now when we ask “what’s different since the last treatment” we get answers that continue to amaze and inspire us.  And we know that we didn’t do it.  How could we make changes like that?  We can’t.  But we can now access the space that allows for healing to occur.  And healing can happen on all levels.

Jen, Danielle, Cathie and I are excited to have this to offer people and want to share it.  We are available for group demos or a short individual demo session.  Please contact us and we can set up a time to experience Matrix Energetics and tap into the field of transformation.

For more information on Dr. Richard Bartlett you can check out his books Matrix Energetics and The Physics of Miracles.
